Silver Falls written by Natalie Wachen
When her Broadway career is put on ice before the holidays, Ruby heads home to help her former high school's flailing arts program. Old grudges, new secrets, and major mix-ups culminate in one chaotic make-or-break night that can only be saved by the power of community with a little heat from an old flame.
Natalie Wachen is an award winning actor, singer, writer, and producer who wrote much of this screenplay in her Broadway dressing room after performances were unexpectedly cancelled for several days over the Christmas holiday. Her New York stage credits include Rent, Gypsy, and Merrily We Roll Along, which won the Best Revival of a Musical Tony in 2024 and was released as a feature film the following year. On TV, she’s recurred on Boardwalk Empire (HBO), Deception (NBC), and 90210 (CW), and guest starred on several New York and Los Angeles series. A lover of travel, she has had the honor of working in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Mexico, and Canada. The concerts she’s written and produced have been seen across the U.S., on luxury cruise lines, and in countries she has yet to visit.
