Strings by George Garritano, Cole Rucker and Melissa Wylie

As our story begins Pinocchio is struggling in his “ever after.”  Now a young adult, he is still a “real boy” unsure of how to be a man. It seems that spending your formative years as a wooden puppet can result in a number of complications, including arrested development. As an adult, Pinocchio remains childlike, innocent and naive. He is still patiently parented by his Papa, Geppetto and his best friend is still a talking cricket, albeit a moody one.

Geppetto falls ill, and on his death bed he informs Pinocchio that he had created a wooden girl named Pia to be Pinocchio’s companion, just as God created Eve for Adam.  This is Pinocchio’s journey to find his true love.
